Nice people and good service. All professional but expensive. The part needs be changed cost 40 euros, but their hourly payment costs 180 euros. So I did not accept the deal. You need to pay 30 euros for getting that information. If the price was reasonable I could pay but unfortunately it was not.
Very friendly and professional. My Yamaha CR-820 was finished in less than a week. Now it works perfectly and I'm happy about the 1-year guarantee on the work they performed. It was a little more expensive than I had anticipated, but then again, everything is more expensive these days. Top professional audio repair shops are becoming more difficult to find and Audio-Service is the best. Highly recommended.
I went to Audio Service in order to repair a faulty Headphone. The left side of the headphone was not working from time to time, which made me think there was a loose cable inside the Headphone. I explained this to Audio Service. They said that it was probably the headphone jack that needed to be replaced. I explained that it seemed not to be the headphone Jack because sometimes the sound would come back when moving the headband (not the jack),and that it seemed to be a loose cable in the left side driver. A few days after, they called me and told me that that the Headphone Jack needed to be replaced. When I arrived to pick up my headphones, the Headphone jack has been indeed replaced. I tried the headphones just outside the store and to my surprise the left side was still not working (did they ever checked the repair?) I returned the headphones and they realised that in fact the left side was still not working. I explained to them AGAIN, that the problem seemed to be a loose cable on the left driver. They apologised and told me they would repair it at no extra charge (I had already payed them for the first “repair”) I went to pick up the headphones after a few days and this time they did repair them (they replaced the left driver) What really pisses me off is that my Audio Technica used to have a great headphone jack, the metal ones that you can use for 6,3mm and 3,5 mm ( 1/4 “ & 1/8”) and stay always in place. Now I have a way cheaper headphone jack that seems to be falling apart already after some months and won’t stay connected to my equipment when using the 1/8” plug (3,5mm) This repair made my Audio Technica Headphones not suitable for traveling anymore because at the minimum movement it just disconnects itself. I gave up on trying to hear music with the 1/8" plug, it just slips out of any device.. simply annoying. With the original jack, I could rely on the 1/8”never disconnecting. The original jack should never had been removed.
Good repair work at reasonable price.
Hatte einen Yamaha RS-700 Stereoreceiver hier zur Reparatur. Schnell, transparent,und relativ günstig(174 Euro)wurde dieser hier repariert, und sorgfältig verpackt kam er wieder an. Auch über Telefon kriegt man sehr freundliche, ungehetzte Auskunft. Der Status der Reparatur lässt sich stets aktuell per Link der in den Mails ist, verfolgen, und man wird auch über jeden Schritt per Mail informiert.
